Wow what a great week we have had with The Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park taking place last weekend and with the Olympics all this week.

The Festival of British Eventing is such a wonderful event to be involved with.  Glorious sunshine and great competition made for a fantastic weekend with Oliver Townend putting in a great display to take the British Eventing Open title.  The Event Riders Masters being incorporated into the British Open, for the first time really did add to the excitement on the final day. We are already looking forward to next year! We have 4-6 August 2017 in our diaries already.

We have been avidly following the eventing team in Rio and although cross country was disappointing it was great to see the team end on a high with four lovely clear rounds in the showjumping – William is an inspiration only nine months after his accident to compete at the Olympics shows what an incredible athlete he is.  Now with all the rest of the Olympic sport to look forward to we will have our fingers crossed for Team GB.

Amy’s boyfriend the Team GB shooter Tim Kneale did us all proud this week competing in the Olympic final of the double trap competition, taking on his team mate Steve Scott in the bronze medal match. After fighting hard the bronze went to Steve but we are immensely proud, well done Tim.

As well as all this sport we have been out and about filming some short videos with some of the top para-dressage riders and we look forward to the para-Olympics starting in September, which will be here before we know it.

We will be in touch again soon.
