It’s been several months since we last posted a blog but suffice to say we’ve had a very busy summer.

Some sad news – Amy has now left us for new horizons and we will miss her very much.  She has been a key part of the team for ten years and has been a huge support to me personally as well as helping us build the business and move forwards in all sorts of areas.  We wish her the very best of luck in her new venture.

The Team at base are really motoring on and we have some great clients across a range of areas – racing, rehabilitation, feed, insurance, the motor industry – you name it,  which is really exciting and we are always on the lookout for more.

April, Kim, Pippa, Charlotte, Tina and myself – with some additional and ‘part time help’ from Olivia – have lots of exciting things to think about and plan.  Charlotte has recently joined us, having worked with us some time ago, and we are thrilled to have her back on board.  April has a well-deserved holiday planned in November, she has had a good season eventing but now some down time, which we hope will be suitably relaxing and enjoyable.  Kim has a busy competition schedule with her new acquisition ‘Funky’ and even managed to qualify for the Petplan Area Festival at Bicton.  Pippa and I are looking forward to some fun hunting and my two ‘girls’ are performing well in dressage and show jumping, so we are all busy outside of working hours with competitions and events.

I can’t quite believe that Christmas is around the corner and prior to that we have a big event at Aintree we are involved with, some of us are attending Your Horse Live, the Point to Point season is about to start and we have the Cheltenham Countryside Festival weekend to look forward to and then – of course – Olympia – so no time to sit still and we certainly can’t get bored!

Most important to us is our client base. We have some really excellent clients who allow us to support them across a variety of channels including expanding the digital aspect of their work.  It is amazing how this has developed and how much time we spend keeping this aspect of our work updated and ensuring that we do not miss any opportunity.  The feature side also takes a a great deal of thought and requires imagination and flair – the team have different strengths which ensures that we don’t miss an opportunity and provide valuable mileage for clients.

With winter now almost upon us – the clocks changing this weekend – we will have some time in the office to focus as we are determined that no stone is unturned in helping us achieve our objectives and create really valuable, measurable results for our clients.

Much to consider, think about and develop and I am indebted to the team for their ongoing support and hard work to ensure we reach our goals.

More again soon.
